The weather was overcast but luckily it did not rain. So it was really wonderful that the temperature remained around 16C for the rest of the afternoon, perfect for our outdoor event activities.

Each family received some delicious Christmas cookies during registration and the children were given the classical red Christmas hats. Once the children saw the craft corner, their eyes sparkled with excitement. That was where they could glue all sorts of accessories to their hats in their own unique designs. Our future designers were very focus and creative in their handicraft.

The adults were busy with starting the fire in the BBQ pit and getting the picnic tables ready.

The magical moment happened when the chiming sound of the Christmas bell echoed in the fresh crisp air. Santa and Schmutzli had arrived with two big bags of goodies on their backs.

Once Santa and Schmutzli were ready on their chairs, all the children sat around them. Santa had a special message with praises and encouragement for each child. Schmutzli handed out the presents after Santa spoke. When the last present was given, Santa and Schmutzli left mysteriously just as when they arrived. Bye Santa! See you next year!

The country park was the perfect place for the children to run around, to play some ball games or to ride on their kick scooters. Everyone was having a good time, enjoying the BBQ food and mingling around.

Another great event organised by the SAHK event team with over 100 people attended. Special thanks to Santa and Schmutzli for bringing the Christmas magical moments to the children.
