25 years in Hong Kong: A Swiss entrepreneur sharing ‘good and bad decisions’  since his arrival in 1990

Guest Speaker: Mr Alex Tunik, Founder and CEO of Transpacific (Far East) Ltd.  

Alex Tunik arrived in Hong Kong in 1990 right after finishing his studies at the HSG, University of St. Gallen. He set up his own business in 1993. Transpacific (Far East) Ltd. is a 50% shareholder in 2 garment factories in China (Fujian and Jiangxi Province). 

Alex shared with us how he started with his own business, the last 25 years of experiences as well as the challenges anticipated ahead in the industry.

Alex was the President of the Swiss Association of Hong Kong in 2005/06 and has been running the HSG Alumni Club in Hong Kong for the past 15 years. He is as well a shareholder at the “Chez Patrick Group”.
