Dragonboat Race at Stanley Beach

It was a very warm Saturday with record crowds at the Stanley Beach for the Dragonboat races. There were 250 teams comprising 6000 paddlers who participated in the races. Temperature went as high as 34C by midday with an estimated crowd of some 200,000 people.

There was so much of actions going on under the scorching sun - paddlers with their explosive energy competing for the titles, very loud drum beats, spectators cheering at the top of their lungs for their teams and laughter at the sight of the paddlers dressed in creative costumes.

So how did our Swiss Team and Heidi perform ?
