Swiss Chocolate Factory Visit

The visit included factory floor tour, chocolate tasting and a video clip on the chocolate making process.

There is a wall near the entrance that displayed cocoa beans photos. It is both fascinating and interesting to see that cocoa beans come in all sorts of colour and sizes.

In addition to chocolate tasting with a cup of fine tea, HKBread Box offered samples of bread for tasting as well.

For food safety reasons, it is a "must" that all hands are washed and sanitized with disinfectant, a cap and a clean jacket to be worn before stepping in the chocolate making area.

Our chocolate experts, Jürg and Rene guided us in the factory. Looking at all the beautiful chocolate pieces is like a childhood dream come true. It's also like walking in a museum as every chocolate seems to be a  delicately designed piece of art.

Thanks to Schoggi Meier for organising this tour for SAHK members.
